Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Development Manager in Oshkosh, WI.
Summary:
Our client is looking for a Business Development Manager that will be responsible for building high, wide and deep relationships with functional and executive decision makers at leading medical device packaging converters to grow and maintain our client's share through value-added solution selling of materials and processes that resolve unmet needs while ensuring the individual customer experience is optimized. The Business Development Manager reports to the National Sales Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Business Development Manager will develop account relationships with packaging converters to identify material specification opportunities
* Build and manage relationships across target functions, and monitor and report on competitive activity
* Prospect new opportunities with strategic partners our client does not currently do business with and cultivate a relationship to build market share by aligning our client's capabilities to meet customer's needs
* Establish a linkage between customer business strategy and our client's capabilities
* Translate customer needs into our client solutions
* Identify, drive and close new business targets consistent with short, medium, and long-term growth objectives
* Drive new material specifications from start to finish working across various functions and roles internally and externally culminating in formal agreements
* Identify and manage sales opportunities from ideation to realization and all steps in between to deliver on annual new business close targets
* Develop and maintain account plans to deliver growth objectives for each key account
* Position our client as a thought leader and packaging material advisor within key packaging converters
* Approach customers with a high degree of professionalism and effectiveness
* Report on progress to management weekly and as requested
