Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our loose diamonds and jewelry business within European luxury brands. The ideal candidate must have an excellent understanding of the European luxury market, a strong network within the loose diamonds and jewellery industry, and a proven track record of building and maintaining business relationships.
1)Market Expansion: Develop and implement strategies to expand the company's market presence in Europe, targeting high-end brands in the loose diamonds and jewellery industries
2) Sales & Revenue Growth: Identify potential business opportunities, and generate new leads, with a focus on closing sales and increasing revenue.
3)Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with luxury jewelry designers, retailers, and other key stakeholders.
4)Partnership Development: Establish partnerships with luxury brands and designers to increase brand awareness and market share.
5)Market Research: Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the European luxury market.
6)Negotiation & Contracts: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and its clients.
7)Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
1)Experience: 5+ years in business development or sales in the luxury goods or jewelry sector, preferably with experience in loose diamonds or high-value commodities.
2)Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the European luxury market, trends, and consumer behavior, especially within loose diamonds and jewellery industry
3)Network: Established connections with European luxury brands and retailers.
4)Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to build rapport quickly and manage multiple high-level relationships.
5)Languages: Fluency in English is required. Additional European languages (e.g., French, Italian, German) are highly desirable.
6)Travel: Willingness to travel across Europe to meet with potential and existing clients.
