This role could suit either someone with previous Insurance Business Development experience or potentially an insurance professional looking to develop their career further within a Business Development role

We will count on you to:
Develop, agree and manage individual yearly account plans and sales pipelines to achieve sales strategy, results and targets. B2B business development with existing and new clients to develop and maintain relationships. Manage the efficient delivery of account plans to ensure Victor UK delivers the required service and performance in line with the sales strategy. Identify new broker account opportunities to grow the region. Build and maintain relationships within assigned intermediary organisations to ensure continued growth and profitability. Ensure that best practice standards are applied at all times and that these standards meet all compliance, legal and regulatory standards. Manage profitable broker relationships in the Scotland and North England with the main focus being revenue growth from securing new business opportunities. Responsible for the generation of revenue from an allocated panel of insurance intermediary accounts by effectively securing new and renewal business. Ensure the fair treatment of our customers is at the heart of everything we do, both personally and as an organisation. Continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.What you need to have:
Previous experience of being in a provincial broker environment delivering risk/service products to brokers Understanding of general insurance products. Ability to influence senior colleagues, and communicate appropriately to all contacts within the business, and externally. Excellent sales & development skills to grow revenues with a proven track record. Working knowledge of selling products/services to independent regional brokers. A driver’s license to visit Brokers is essential.What makes you stand out?
