WATER QUALITY PLATFORM
Water Quality (‘WQ”) Platform is part of the Environmental & Applied Solutions reporting segment and is a global leader in water quality analysis and treatment, providing instrumentation and disinfection systems to help analyze and manage the quality of ultra-pure water, portable water, wastewater, groundwater and ocean water in residential, commercial, industrial, and natural resource applications. Our water quality business provides products under a variety of brands, including Hach, Trojan Technologies, McCrometer and ChemTreat. WQ Asia has sales offices in India, Australia, New Zeland, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Philippines.
About Role
ROLE DESCRIPTION
Overview:
Responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential clients, and contributing to the company's growth and revenue generation. The BDM will work closely with internal teams to create strategies that align with the company's goals, secure new contracts, and ensure sustainable business growth.
What You'll Be Doing (Job Responsibilities)
Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the team to achieve revenue and growth targets.
Identify new business opportunities and generate leads through market research and prospecting.
Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients, ensuring their needs are met.
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet targets and close sales agreements.
Collaborate with the marketing and project teams to ensure offerings align with market demands.
Manage the sales pipeline, track progress, and report performance to senior management.
Conduct competitive analysis and provide insights for business growth.
What We Are Looking For (Skills & Qualifications)
Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing/ Engineering degree in Chemistry or Instrumentation; MBA is a plus.
5+ years of sales/marketing experience
Proven track record of success within the water industry and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement and issue resolution.
In-depth knowledge of water analysis technology, environmental regulations, and industry trends.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work environment
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel as necessary.
