GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Business Development Manager manages the development and implementation of policies, procedures and strategies

for business development initiatives.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Collaborates with appropriate departments to develop effective marketing/business development plans. Markets

opportunity to potential candidates

•Develops annual marketing/business development plan and budget

•Projects budgetary needs and monitors expenditures. Leads the collection, analysis, documentation and coordination of

business development project

•Trains, coaches, and evaluates associates on performance expectations

•Establishes and maintains relationships with stakeholders and business partners to provide solutions

•Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE STRONGLY PREFERRED:

•Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, and Word

•Strong coordination and project management skills

•Ability to supervise and manage business development initiatives

•Ability to understand, interpret and apply detailed and complex information

•Effective interpersonal and active listening skills

•Ability to conduct performance reviews and provide input for human resource decisions such as hiring, promotions and

disciplinary actions

•Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

Excellent time management skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Bachelors and 2 years experience

2 years Leadership Experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED:

•Bachelor's degree in Business Management or a related field required

•Three years of technical experience required

•Two years of leadership/management experience required

PREFERRED:

•Master's degree in a related field or combination of Bachelor's degree and related experience preferred

•Five years of technical experience preferred

•Three years of leadership/management experience preferred
