Business Development Manager

A Carter Lumber Business Development Manager is responsible for the growth and management of new OSR’s and the development and acquisition of new business through all available channels. Ensures the requirements and objectives of the sales team is consistently being achieved. This is accomplished by carrying out direction set forth by the Market General Manager and Market Vice President, working in concert with the Store Managers and Sales Manager. Complying with policies and procedures, monitoring key employees, developing sales and communication are all components of this position. Effective communication with the field, internal departments and external vendors is mandatory for the success of this position.

Requirements:

Previous Business Development experience in the building materials industryKnowledgeable in the basic aspects of constructionDemonstrated ability to analyze, trouble shoot and problem solveStrong written and verbal communication skillsThis position will be covering the Northeast Ohio territories Requirements:
