Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Development of pipeline and assist with pipeline management of drug discovery products including research reagents, screening reagents, cell based assays, and assays for the discovery and development of biologic drugsSupport marketing to reinforce positioning and messaging via webinars, client presentations, and field based training to BDsUnderstand market, customer needs, and competitive landscapeWorks with Products Sales Director to implement client specific programsUncover new opportunities and help follow-up marketing leads (tradeshows etc.)Achieve/exceed assigned revenue targets in designated regionInput leads, contacts, accounts  and opportunities into the company CRM and consistently maintain the accuracy of these records Provide monthly forecast of business utilizing tools defined by sales managementCreate and update key account plans in the company CRM for use in creating and presenting to Eurofins Discovery leadership on a quarterly basisPrimary liaison across commercial and market development organization for ProductsSubject Matter Expert (SME) on product and technical capabilities for designing and managing high value, multi stage, drug discovery or drug development projectsWork with operations teams globally to design and deliver proposalsPerforms other duties as required and assignedDemonstrates and promotes the company visionRegular attendance and punctualityConducts all activities in a safe and efficient mannerAdjusts work hours as needed to meet client deadlinesAdheres to site employee health and safety (EHS) requirements

Qualifications

 

BS in biology or related field and 3 years related client facing experience in drug discovery. MS or PhD in life sciences field preferred.Experience in design of drug discovery programs for multiple therapeutic areas with experience working on pharma drug developmentExperience in drug discovery process, project management, and bringing drugs to market is requiredAbility to travel with overnight stays globallyAbility to present using original or innovative techniques or styleAbility to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to public groups and/or individual decision makersAbility to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problemsAbility to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.) in its most difficult phasesAbility to deal with a variety of abstract and concrete variablesAbility to positively interface with a client, regulatory and internal company baseExperience in liaising across functional areas and managing cross-site efforts including those of external collaborators and CRO'sStrong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExcellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detailAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

Additional Information

Salary: $120,000 - $130,000/yr. base plus bonus

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed.
