Atrial fibrillation affects over 33 million individuals worldwide and is the most common form of serious arrhythmia. Being in a fast-growing cardiac ablation business segment and with recent expansion of our portfolio, including Affera and Pulse Select, we are poised to provide innovative solutions to address unmet needs for many patients. We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team to further drive the growth of the business across North West Europe. Reporting the operating unit The Commercial Manager for North West Europe will oversee the commercial strategy and operations within the region, with a particular focus on the EP market. This role involves working closely with the Marketing Manager to provide key insights into the EP market and technologies, as well as supporting Sales Managers and Territory Managers in conversations with physicians. The successful candidate will be a proven expert in the EP field, capable of advising and supporting the team on both technological and commercial strategies.

A Day in the Life
You will be responsible for:

·       Developing and implementing the commercial strategy for North West Europe, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.

·       Working with the Marketing Manager to provide key insights into the EP market and emerging technologies.

·       Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand the company's market presence in the region.

·       Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders in the EP market, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

·       Providing expert knowledge to Sales Managers and Territory Managers to support conversations with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

·       Offering proficient clinical and technical assistance on the use of the Medtronic Electrophysiology Portfolio.

Sharing clinical best practices with colleagues to optimize the customer experience.

Must Haves

•    Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Medical Engineering, or related scientific disciplines
•    Minimum of 10 years of Electrophysiology experience, with experience of leading an Electrophysiology business

•    Ability to work in EP Labs and achieve vendor credentials
•    Experience working on C- suite level and with HST and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders

•    Strong negotiation and contract management skills and the ability to work well in a cross-functional environment
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as well as good sales and presentation skills
•    Driving licence and willingness to travel as required

 

Nice to Haves

•    IBHRE or equivalent certification is a plus
•    proficiency in other European languages is highly desirable
•    Strong strategic and analytical thinking abilities
