The Business Development Manager is responsible for achieving annual sales goals for the region focused on key accounts, contractors, design/build partners, and products in alignment with the Company’s strategic plans. This key sales partner is accountable for building and managing a sales funnel/pipeline, convert contractors and partners to specify and standardize on Zurn Elkay products, and support Zurn Elkay’s sales network. Position is located in New York City, NY, Boston, MA, or Philadelphia, PA. **Responsibilities:** + Identify and close sales opportunities within Northeast US region. Understand customer priorities and industries to close sales. + Create demand and sales through contractors. + Manage key accounts and key stakeholders within each account. + Build and manage the sales funnel, leveraging CRM for effective account management and forecasting. + Communicate progress towards goals, obstacles, best practices and other insights to improve performance. + Continuously engage with, educate, and support Zurn Elkay’s sales network. + Drive annual strategic market development / sales initiatives. + Train and onboard new reps and associates. + Play key role in strategic initiatives and projects. + Understand and communicate product capabilities and applications. + Develop and offer project quotations to maximize profitability within pricing guidelines as necessary. + Understand market drivers, technical trends, customer requirements (e.g., new products or services), and competitive landscape. + Provide qualitative voice-of-customer feedback to new product development teams on Zurn Elkay’s existing products, new products and competitor offerings. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree and equivalent industry experience required. + Minimum of 8 years of experience and demonstrated aptitude in the B2B sales, marketing, and/or service of manufactured plumbing, building materials / systems / controls or other industrial products; specific experience in plumbing, fire protection, irrigation, or site utilities is highly desirable, but not required. + Knowledge of manufacturing sales through distribution and rep agencies, and their related materials purchasing pathways is essential. + Solid business skills in customer-facing functions, inclusive of value-added-selling, negotiating and closing the deal. + Proficient in developing and delivering presentations to Contractors. + Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook). **_Total Rewards and Benefits_** + Competitive Salary + Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, AD&D, and Life Insurance + Matching 401(k) Contribution + Health Savings Account + Up to 3 Weeks Vacation + 12 Paid Holidays + Annual Bonus Eligibility + Educational Reimbursement + Matching Gift Program **THIRD PARTY AGENCY: Any unsolicited submissions received from recruitment agencies will be considered property of Zurn Elkay, and we will not be liable for any fees or obligations related to those submissions.** Equal Opportunity Employer – Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran **Zurn Elkay Water Solutions Corporation** **_What happens when two remarkable sustainability leaders come together as one?_** _A sustainability powerhouse is born, making a splash in the markets they serve and saving the planet one innovative installation at a time._ In early 2022, Zurn Water Solutions Corporation, a market leader in smart, sustainable water solutions, and Elkay Manufacturing, a commercial drinking water solutions leader, agreed to combine their two exceptional firms to become a single water solutions powerhouse.
