Business Development Manager - Passive Fire Protection (PFP) EMEA
This role drives the strategic growth of Hydrocarbon and Cellulosic Passive Fire Protection (PFP) in the EMEA region for the Protective & Marine Coatings (PMC) business. The position focuses on achieving sales and profitability targets through the development and execution of sales, marketing, and technical strategies. A critical aspect is engaging with customers, industry bodies, and regulators to promote PPG’s technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead sales and technical teams to meet volume and profitability goals. Act as the subject matter expert on market trends, key players, and regulatory requirements. Identify new business opportunities and foster relationships with key stakeholders. Maintain technical knowledge of industry trends and new products. Represent PPG in industry forums, conferences, and committees. Support product management and contribute to technical documentation. Drive business transformation and complexity reduction initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, chemistry, business, or related field.10+ years in strategy, marketing, engineering, or sales within the chemical industry.Strong understanding of fire protection standards and methods.Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to travel as needed.Success Factors:
