Business Development Manager - Product Sustainability

+ This is a Hybrid position requiring 3 days/week in a UL Solutions office.
+ Research and identify potential clients and markets within the circular economy sector Develop a comprehensive understanding of client needs and tailor solutions to meet their requirements.
+ Establish and nurture strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their sustainability goals and challenges and provide tailored solutions to address their needs.
+ Create and implement effective strategies to drive business growth. Collaborate with the management team to develop sales targets, marketing plans, and pricing strategies.
+ Work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, consultants, and technical experts, to ensure seamless delivery of services and exceed client expectations.
+ Keep abreast of the latest developments and trends in the circular economy sector. Attend industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to expand knowledge and identify potential business opportunities.
+ Track and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities. Prepare regular reports and presentations for management, highlighting key performance indicators and recommending strategies for improvement.
+ Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000. to $120,000. and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 20% of the base salary.
+ This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).

+ Bachelor's degree in business administration, sustainability, environmental science, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
+ Proven track record in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the sustainability or circular economy sector.
+ Strong understanding of circular economy principles and sustainability practices.
+ Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
+ Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
+ Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
