Business Development Manager – Service Market (Industrial)
Salary: £55,000 (circa) & Annual Company Bonus & Company Car
Location: Warwick (Hybrid – 2 days in office) with the flexibility to travel UK-wide with nights away regularly

Volvo Penta is looking for an ambitious, results-driven Business Development Manager to join our Industrial Service Market Team. In this role, you will manage and develop the Service Market business with our OEM partners, driving parts and services sales growth while ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering on our strategic objectives.

As a Business Development Manager, you will collaborate closely with OEM partners, internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring we remain ahead of the curve in a competitive market. From developing strategic plans to driving business growth, you will play a pivotal role in maximising our aftermarket potential.

Who Are You?

You are a seasoned professional with a strong background in dealer or account management, ideally within a technical or sales/marketing capacity. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for building relationships and driving business results. You are highly strategic but also detail-oriented, with the ability to analyse markets and identify opportunities for growth. Familiarity with Excel is a must, and experience with Power BI is highly advantageous in helping you make informed decisions and present insights effectively. You are a strong communicator and a team player, with a keen ability to work cross-functionally to deliver outstanding results.

Role & Responsibilities

Strategic Development: Develop and implement strategies to optimize the aftermarket setup with OEM partners, ensuring alignment with Volvo Penta’s business objectives.

Sales Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to increase parts and services sales within the OEM market, leveraging market insights and customer feedback. Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with OEM partners, understanding their needs and collaborating to deliver tailored solutions. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and potential areas for growth within the aftermarket sector. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive approach to market needs and customer satisfaction. Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on sales performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
