The Business Development (“BD”) team at EY is pivotal in driving our firm's growth and success by supporting key stakeholders by pre-sales activities through effective pursuit processes, CRM management, comprehensive market research, markets reporting, key account management and assessing client satisfaction.
The opportunity
We are seeking a detail-oriented Business Development Pursuit Coordinator to assist in managing our firm's largest proposals, ensuring successful outcomes and client engagement. You will be expected to work independently and be a professional project manager. This role is essential in maintaining our high standards and achieving our business goals.
You will lead and execute the entire proposal process, from initial request to final submission, ensuring all deadlines are met. This role requires exceptional coordination skills to work effectively with various internal teams and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines. Your ability to prioritize and pay attention to detail will be key to your success.
Your key responsibilities
Collaborate with EY pursuit team members and client-side purchasers to act as a liaison between the client and the broader firm Develop and execute high-quality proposals, qualification documents, presentations, and other proposal materials Support key proposals, tenders and public procurements across all industry groups and service lines Collaborate with the BD Leader to keep pursuit-related materials up to date General leads by closely in monitoring tenders at the market and channel them to the appropriate EY team
Skills and attributes for success
We are looking for candidates who:
Hold a BA or MA degree, or equivalent Have 3-4 years of relevant experience, preferably in procurement, legal, or management consulting Are keen to learn public procurement rules for bidders and ready to adapt to changes Are client-focused, with a strong understanding of customer challenges and the ability to provide valuable solutions Have strong project and time management skills, able to work under tight deadlines Demonstrate accuracy and structured thinking Have work experience in Big4 or Magic Circle in coordinating pursuits and a track record of assisting in winning business opportunities is an advance Are confident in dealing with internal stakeholders at management level Exhibit openness, excellent communication abilities, and a problem-solving attitude Are proficient in English and Hungarian, with strong skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
