As a Business Development Representative (Customer-facing), you will play an essential role in DataRobot’s direct sales team. Your role will consist of conducting in-depth research into organizations and key decision makers across North America and proactively engaging them in discussions on how DataRobot’s platform can help them overcome some of their biggest challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
Diligently research target accounts assigned to you and keep on top of new announcements, annual reports, press releases and other publicly available information.
Map out the organization structure and key influencers within each target account.
Research areas of interest for key decision makers and potential routes to engage them.
Craft well researched, creative outreach campaigns tailored to the findings of your research.
Professionally and persistently follow up via phone, email, LinkedIn and other means identified from the research.
Conduct initial introductory and discovery discussions to help qualify potential.
Book qualified meetings and provide the sales team with detailed, well formatted handover notes from initial discussions.
Consistently meet or exceed Key Performance Indicators and contribute to the continued hypergrowth of the region.
Understand industry trends and show dedication to continuous learning on all professional fronts
Provide feedback to peers and internal teams to help develop and improve marketing materials and messaging.
Adapt messaging to suit the needs of the local market.
Maintain up-to-date information in Salesforce.com and Outreach.io.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Demonstrable track record of achievement and excellence.
Experience and proficiency in high pressure, competitive situations.
Can comprehend topics and translate them into easy to understand, concise explanations.
Will conduct meaningful, rigorous research and distill findings into concise summaries for sharing with the sales organization.
Manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high-volume pace.
Showcase creative, considered approaches to messaging and communication that is tailored to the audience and effectively captures their attention.
Commitment, attention to detail, organizational skills, and multitasking needed to thrive in a performance-oriented culture.
A growth mindset.
You are a self-starter, and comfortable operating with limited supervision, and have solid problem-solving skills.
A passion for technology.
Nice to have:
Prior work experience in customer facing capacity is preferred (1 year minimum)
Comfortable working with modern technology (Zoom, laptops, software, cloud applications, etc)
Experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn, Outreach.io
