Business Development Representative
For over 100 years, my client has been manufacturing and supplying high-quality, complex-engineered castings for the mining, transport, general industrial and contract manufacturing markets. They have over 3,000 employees and global operations in Australia, China, Canada, India, Malaysia and the United States.

Overview:
As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for driving business growth and sales in the heavy industrial sector. You will play a critical role in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, nurturing leads, and building strong relationships with key clients.
 
Responsibilities:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the heavy industrial sector, focusing on industries such as manufacturing, construction, locomotive, nuclear, valve pump casting, pulp paper, and structural. Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential clients and understand their needs. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement effective business development strategies. Provide support to the sales team by leveraging resources within the company to drive sales. Attend industry events and conferences to network and promote Bradken’s products and services. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. 1-2 years of work experience in business development or sales, or a recent graduate with relevant internships. Strong understanding of heavy industrial markets and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new industry knowledge. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Self-motivated with a high level of grit and resilience. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel up to 15% of the time. CRM Experience:
Experience with Salesforce is an asset. Interview Process:
The interview process will involve 2-3 interviews, including meetings with the Business Development Director and the Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Growth Opportunities:

Base salary: $70,000 - $75,000, with a 5% bonus structure.
