Summary:
As a Sales Development Representative at Stusser Electric Kirkland, you begin with warehouse and
delivery duties in order to learn about the basics of Electrical Distribution and our specific products. We provide
you the opportunity to think creatively, share your strengths, and accelerate beyond what you think you’re
capable of. In this 1-2 year program, trainees will rotate into Counter Sales and Inside Sales, interacting with
customers via phone, email, and in-person at our sales counter; entering and filling customers' orders; and assisting
with warehouse work as needed. You will have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of market trends
and customer specifications through hands-on training. Once trained in each of the areas of business below, you
will have an opportunity to be promoted to an Account Manager, where you manage a set of accounts focusing on
business development. As you prioritize market share growth, you’ll be partnering with local contractors and
electricians in the residential, commercial, and industrial spaces to grow your book of business.
Tentative Timeline:
3 months – Warehouse Operations
7 months – Counter Sales
8 months – Inside Sales
1 Month – Operational Training
Final – Account Manager
Reports to: Profit Center Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Associates or Bachelor’s degree
+ 1-2 years B2B Sales experience a plus
+ Must be a driven initiative-taker, have a positive outlook, and an entrepreneurial spirit
+ Current, valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
+ Ability to safely operate equipment including, but not limited to a forklift (certification provided on the job),pallet jacks, wire machine, etc.•Manually lift 40+ lbs.
+ Detail oriented, extremely organized, and capable of thinking creatively
+ Authorization to work in the United States (without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or inthe future)

Working Conditions:
+ This job operates in a professional office environment and various warehouse locations and conditions. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
+ While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to manipulate, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 75 pounds.

Essential Job Functions:
+ Business Development Representative will be assigned specific customer accounts and will be accountable for those customers having a consistently positive experience with the company every day.
+ Write up customer orders, engage in pricing and availability discussions.
+ Create processes and strategies to help customers stay organized and informed, and to make it easy for the customers to provide forecasting for their upcoming needs.
+ Engage in ongoing learning and training in electrical equipment to give customers advice on products and product alternatives.
+ Provide insight into purchasing decisions for the company team based on conversations with customers and well-established customer relationships.
+ Provide customer service to walk-in retail customers; handling cash/credit sales transactions.
+ Provide telephone sales support – answer customer questions, take orders, give directions, route calls, take messages.
+ Prepare/pick sales orders in support of the warehouse team.
+ Give input on marketing, events, and broader customer communications
+ Update lobby displays and stock literature in showroom.
+ Other duties as assigned

Compensation Range:
The compensation range for this position is $55000 to $67000 annually.
