Position Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Outbound Business Development team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in prospecting, qualifying leads, and directly driving revenue targets. In this role, you’ll engage in daily prospecting, support preliminary sales qualification, and contribute to developing processes that enhance team performance. As a BDR team member, you’ll have a meaningful impact on shaping the team’s growth and success, with opportunities to take on additional projects and collaborate across functions.
Job Description:
? Actively promote and market the company through diverse outreach methods, including cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn messaging, and targeted outbound campaigns.
? Conduct research and evaluate leads through web and CRM tools, maintaining accounts, contacts, and opportunities in Salesforce.
? Schedule qualified demos that provide valuable insights for the Account Executive team.
? Identify and engage decision-makers within company structures to ensure quality prospecting.
? Consistently meet or exceed daily and monthly quotas, contributing directly to revenue goals.
? Collaborate in building company processes, using creativity and strategic thinking to drive team performance.
Requirements:
While a degree is preferred, we are excited to learn about your combination of a high school diploma paired with two years of work, military or related experience that drives you to find your next career opportunity!
? Experience: 1-3 years in lead generation or outbound prospecting, ideally within FinTech, SaaS, or B2B environments, with a strong track record in a metrics-driven setting.
? Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, a high attention to detail, and a proactive, self-starting attitude. Thrives in a collaborative, remote, and entrepreneurial environment.
? Tools Proficiency: Skilled in lead generation tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, SalesLoft, Salesforce, ZoomInfo, and Microsoft 365.
? Creativity & Resilience: A strategic thinker with creative problem-solving skills, comfortable with handling rejection, and driven to keep the sales funnel active. Goal-oriented and motivated to grow into an Account Executive role.
? Passion for Innovation: A demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship, finance, and technology, with a desire to make a significant impact in an early-stage startup.
? Location: Chicago-based with the ability to commute to Schaumburg, IL office 2 times per week.
