Business Development Representative

Java House is growing with the introduction of our Java House Peel and Pour Beverage Pods- the ultimate solution for enjoying a variety of delicious drinks effortlessly. We are getting into the office coffee service and showcasing our coffee, tea and other beverages highlighting a “low tech”, no equipment needed, amazingly smooth solution. 

Your day-to-day will consist of generating qualified leads and cold calling these prospects, documenting all communication within the customer relationship management system (CRM), and connecting these quality leads and interested customers to our office coffee system (OCS) team in the field. 

Responsibilities

Assist Direct Sales Team with lead generation and setting tasting eventsLead daily business development efforts by sourcing qualified leads, utilizing lead generation criteria and processes, Set tasting events through a high volume of outreach activities (phone, email, text, etc.)Utilize CRM for effective and proficient prospect management, documentation, and marketing implementation Clear, concise documentation and communication to office coffee and central teamsCollaborate with sales and marketing teams to assist in developing the sales process and content and marketing implementation May include customer follow up, customer engagement, customer upsell, and re-ordering

Qualifications

Bachelor or Associate degree in Marketing, Business Management/Administration, or related fieldStrong Communication Skills Excellent verbal communication and ability to articulate value propositions clearly Sales Aptitude Basic understanding of sales processes and techniques, ability to handle objections and navigate rejection positively Comfortable cold calling, cold prospecting, and “tough chin” mentality required in sales CRM Proficiency Familiarity with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or Zoho for tracking leads and managing dataDetail-focused mind, strong organization and time managementAbility to build strong relationships; engaging communicator and collaborator Professional, positive, and proactive written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work autonomously within a team environment with a strong sense of urgency to complete tasks on time and to expectationPerseverance, initiative & follow-through, and problem solving
