C Spire is seeking a creative, energetic, and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our Commercial Sales team. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can effectively develop new sales opportunities and leads, open new doors, and create opportunities over the phone using ConnectAndSell, and other tools, in combination with Salesforce.

 

The ideal candidate will have experience in telemarketing with a propensity for developing and closing new business over the phone.  The position will work hand-in-hand with our inside sales team and will be adept at building relationships with all field account managers.

 

This is a position with growth potential based on results, comprehension, and team contribution.  The ideal candidate will develop into an outside sales representative.

Qualifications REQUIREDBachelor's degree or equivalent years of professional experience in sales, business development, or a related field required.Ability to learn and present managed services solutions and the IT industry landscape required.Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills required.Ability to learn and become proficient in Salesforce and other CRM software required.Ability to work independently and as part of a team required.Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement business growth strategies required.PREFERREDProven experience in the IT/managed service industry strongly preferred.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screen, as well as a telephone. Must be able to work a flexible schedule shared by other department members including some evenings and weekends.
