**Business Development Representative** **Job Details** **Job Location** CORPUS CHRISTI - CORPUS CHRISTI, TX **Position Type** Full Time **Job Description:** We are looking for a **Business Development Representative** (BDR) to assist in the success of the UES Corpus Christi office, and the overall South Texas Sales Team. This is a salaried position, working alongside our statewide sales team of 20. You will also be part of, and integral to, the success of the Regional Marketing Team. You will use established processes and client knowledge to identify new clients and contacts, coordinate leads with operational staff, qualify prospects, take selected opportunities to close, and manage the assigned sales functions – all with the appropriate training and supervision. This position is responsible for the Corpus Christi market, and reports to the Region Sales Manager. **ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Schedule and execute face-to-face (In person & Virtual) sales meetings + Assist with internal proposal processes + Identify and qualify prospective clients + Identify and pursue major potential projects through contract execution + Identify, schedule and run lunch-and -learn presentations + Assist with marketing events + Attend networking events + Attend occasional evening and weekend events + Local travel required for sales meetings **REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:** + Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Software + Strong verbal and written communications skills + Knowledge of the AEC & Real Estate industry is a plus + College undergraduate degree (Business, Construction, Engineering, Communication) **Qualifications** _The UES Texas Region includes 4 powerhouse legacy firms from the geotechnical engineering, construction materials testing, and environmental consulting arenas: Alpha Testing, Rock Engineering & Testing, Riner Engineering, and InControl Technologies._ _Now, as we work together as_ **_Team UES_** _, our core values continue to portray who we are and what we believe.
