Business Development Representative
What You'll Do Are you passionate about digitalization and global trends in e-invoicing and live reporting? Avalara's International Technology Partner Acquisition team is looking for a Business Development Representative to join our growing team in Pune. You will focus on identifying net-new prospects, creating high-value opportunities, and executing high-yielding outreach campaigns. Will help you to manage multiple campaigns and maintain CRM accuracy. As an ADR, you will help scale our technology partnership acquisition process and positively influencing Avalara's outcomes. You'll be the first contact for potential technology partners, making your efforts important to our success. #LI-Onsite What Your Responsibilities Will Be Collaborate with the team to create and deliver high-yielding campaigns targeting prospects in the e-invoicing and live reporting domains. Cold-call, email, and use other creative outreach methods to connect with leads, qualify them, and schedule meetings for the business development team. Ensure accurate data entry, including creating detailed notes, updating contact records, and tracking campaign progress in CRM systems. Meet monthly quotas for qualified leads and acquisition-accepted opportunities. Build a understanding of e-invoicing, live reporting, and digital transformation trends to enhance outreach conversations. Work with multiple teams to align outreach efforts with Avalara's broader strategic goals. You will be reporting to Director, Business Development What You'll Need to be Successful Curious and humble: Continuously looking for ways to learn and improve—both from successes and failures. Accountable and proactive: Meet deadlines, and commitments. Communicator of simplicity: You can distil complex ideas into compelling messages that resonate with diverse audiences. Experienced in European markets (preferred): Previous experience working with prospects or customers in Europe will be advantageous.
