Business Development Representative

Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT) is a leading supplier of building envelope solutions that effectively drive energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and residential applications. We are looking for a Business Development Representative located remotely.

 

Job Summary:

As a business development representative for Carlisle Weatherproofing Technologies (CWT), you will play a critical role between the marketing and sales teams. Through strong communication skills and an understanding of the CWT portfolio, the ideal candidate will expand the reach of marketing campaigns to support a seamless customer experience. You will strategically identify and contact qualified leads to build a pipeline of new opportunities to contribute to CWT’s long-term business growth.

 

Currently this role is remote with the expectation to travel to Kimberton, PA and/or Carlisle, PA 1-2 times per month. 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities Lead initial customer outreach Contact prospects through phone calls and emails Determine prospect needs and current challenges through initial conversation(s) and recommend appropriate products Document qualified leads and follow up actions in Salesforce Schedule meetings and calls between prospects and field sales reps Collaborate with the marketing team in creating digital campaigns that will drive sales Other duties as assigned [this is standard language contained within all job descriptions]

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Self-motivated, well-organized, team player with strong communication skills and a bias for action Builds trust with others by encouraging open dialogue and collaboration Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Teams, HubSpot Experience in the construction industry with builders, contractors and architects is preferred

Education and Experience:

Required: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Preferred: 1-2 years of relevant marketing or sales experience

Working Conditions:

This position primarily involves work in the standard office environment, although it is sometimes necessary to perform limited amounts of work at manufacturing facilities and job sites typical of the construction trade. Occasional travel to other Company facilities and trade shows in the United States and Canada is also required. The work schedule is consistent with normal business hours, although  weekend or after-business hours work  may occasionally be required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to do one or more of the following, separately and/or together: stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms, read, write and communicate.
