Business Development Representative at Aon Impact Forecasting
This role is part of Aon Impact Forecasting team, a team of scientists, developers and client services colleagues together developing and supporting catastrophe models for various perils including flood, windstorm, earthquake, wildfire or terrorism.
We are looking for a person to join our Business Development team. We seek an energetic and reliable person who will work with colleagues, clients and prospects to help the adoption of our catastrophe models for (re)insurance while focusing on our business goals and targets!
What the day will look like?
+ Pursuing opportunities and working with leads through the sales cycle
+ Conducting technical sales presentations to prospects
+ Developing quotes and proposals
+ Handling (re)insurer client accounts across Europe and beyond
+ Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
+ Working with Aon colleagues to drive adoption of Impact Forecasting models
+ Handling requests and communications in a timely, effective, and highly professional manner
Skills and experience that will lead to success
+ University degree is desired (business or science / relevant subject)
+ 2-4 years of experience in a client-facing position (account management, business development and/or sales)
+ Excellent communication skills in English, other languages are also welcome!
+ Confident when presenting and conducting meetings
+ Good knowledge of MS Office and overall computing skills
+ Proven persuasion skills and sales-oriented mindset
+ Strong teammate with analytical thinking and organizational skills
+ Flexibility to occasionally work outside of standard business hours when dealing with overseas clients and colleagues
+ Willingness to travel in Europe and overseas
