Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented **Business Development** **Representative I** based at our **Greenville, NC** location.
What you will do:
+ Engage with Major Accounts early in the sales cycle to create meaningful customer interactions.
+ Utilize sales and marketing tools to contact leads, develop qualified opportunities, and align them with Major Account Managers and dealers.
+ Leverage your technical knowledge to understand customer needs and drive qualified opportunities forward.
+ Meet metrics for completed calls, customer conversations, and quotas for new qualified opportunities.
Who you are:
+ Proactive communicator with a technical background, able to explain complex solutions clearly.
+ Preferred experience in logistics, supply chain, or engineering with strong customer service skills.
+ Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
+ Self-starter with a collaborative mindset, combining technical expertise and interpersonal skills to build relationships.
+ A results-driven professional with proven experience in sales, skilled at identifying customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, and driving deals to close.
What you will need:
+ Bachelor's degree preferred for entry-level candidates.
+ Associate's degree with 1-3 years of relevant experience in customer relationship management, sales, or marketing.
+ In lieu of a degree 4 or more years of relevant experience in customer relationship management, sales, or marketing.
Skills, Experience & Abilities
+ Proficient in using MS Office Suite and other basic computer applications.
+ Able to analyze data to prioritize tasks and make informed business decisions.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with solid time management and analytical abilities.
+ Excellent interpersonal skills, with a focus on building and maintaining business relationships.
+ Strong sales acumen with the ability to engage prospects, develop leads, and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
