PotomacWave Consulting is currently looking for a Business Development Research Support Analyst to join our corporate team in Alexandria, VA! The optimal candidate will employ analytical skills to provide data-driven insights for tactical and strategic decision making.  

Responsibilities: 

Directly support business development capture phases (conduct data pulls, research GAO reports, support daily opportunity searches, aggregate historical trends etc.)Deconstruct and outline organizations/agencies to provide initial scope for new business opportunitiesAssist in managing business development reporting and tracking spreadsheet(s), and completing independent research searches for specific agency information (i.e., populating a template with needed agency or competitive activity data)Complete discrete, one-off projects to support maturing new business development opportunities as needed and assist in refining company past performanceQualifications:Bachelor’s DegreeAbility to independently research (at times with minimal direction), document, and then present and discuss results and optionsInterest in research methodologies, data collection and analysis (or equivalent experience)Strong written and verbal communications skills along with solid interpersonal skillsContext-driven technical writing and editing support preferred
