To learn more about us, visit stradaglobal.com **Business development specialist, Italy** **Role** The Business Development Specialist is responsible for producing and nurturing leads as well as advancing the sales process through prospecting exploration. The individual will conduct research to identify leads and reach business targets through a host of different channels including telemarketing, digital and social selling, and other outreach vehicles. They will proactively follow-up on all marketing originated leads from multi-touch campaigns and will influence local marketing activity providing vital input based on their interactions with prospects. The role will also support marketing activities including face-to-face events, webinars and general marketing campaigns offering extra opportunities to liaise and interact with prospects. This role would support the Marketing lead for Italy and would dot line into the country lead for the country. The role would require constant engagement and interlinks with the local sales team as this role straddles both marketing and sales. **Responsibilities** + Direct outreach and follow-up on marketing originated/derived leads generated through external channels namely, telemarketing, digital and social marketing/selling and email marketing efforts + Carry out exploratory research and identify potential target accounts and decision makers within them + Collaborate with sales and presales teams to hone best sales approaches and angles + Create and deliver marketing qualified opportunities that can be handed off to sales and can be moved forward based on established/predefined criteria + Support marketing efforts at trade shows, exhibits, and other events where there is an opportunity to interact/meet prospects + Leverage market insights and intent data to target the right prospect organizations at the right time + Influence direct to prospect campaigns and messaging based on interactions with prospects + Increase Strada´s profile and awareness with prospects through key B2B social channels like LinkedIn and X + Get involved in local customer communities and attend industry events all in the means to garner more prospect conversations **Requirements** + University or college degree + Ideally 2+years’ experience in a business development role + Fluent in Italian and English + Knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques. + Strong communication skills (the gift of the gab) + Strong problem identification and objections handling skills + Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills + Excellent listening skills. + Strong written communication skills. + Self- motivated, with high energy and an enthusiasm + Ability to work individually and as part of a team. + High level of integrity and work ethic + Digitally savvy: well versed in platforms like LinkedIn, X + Familiarity with CRM systems like SFDC (nice to have) **Our story** Strada is a technology-enabled, people powered company committed to delivering world-class payroll, human capital management, and financial management solutions to organizations globally.
