Business Development Specialist

+ This is a Hybrid position requiring 3 days/week in the Northbrook, IL office
+ Provides assistance to management on development and implementation of select testing and compliance service lines
+ Responds effectively to urgent and sensitive customer issues and focuses on sustaining customer satisfaction and loyalty by maintaining a relationship with internal sales and the prospective customer.
+ Develops and masters researching techniques to identify service drivers and prospective customers, and to identify the decision makers in the prospective organizations.
+ Develops and manages relationships with internal sales staff and their assigned prospects and customers to assess account potential.
+ Assists in up-selling opportunities.

+ Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related disciplines
+ 5+ years of relevant experience in handing business development or sales activity.
+ Knowledgeable in performance testing and certification compliance
+ Knowledgeable in new product development and portfolio management concepts.
+ Demonstrated ability to develop a business
+ Understanding of Energy Efficiency testing and certification service preferred
