Business Unit Overview 8th Avenue Food & Provisions is a growing organization made up of businesses that produce and sell quality products including pasta, peanut butter, granola, and fruit and nut trail mixes to retail, foodservice and ingredient customers. The company was formed in October 2018 through a combination of Post Holdings’ private brands businesses and is owned by Post Holdings and funds affiliated with Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P. (“THL”), a private equity firm. Responsibilities The purpose of this role is to supports the company's business development team by performing a variety of tasks, including administrative support, managing SalesForce CRM data / entry, customer service, and coordination of projects and tasks. Duties and Responsibilities: Oversees customer projects and timelines with cross functional partners. Works with Commercialization team to ensure shared timelines are met, responds to customer needs, solves for and communicates ETA's and delays. Works with internal SMEs to solve customer issues. Completes bid documents or enters bid in customer portal. Troubleshoots delayed projects and follow-ups. Investigates customer price discrepancies with Customer Service. Pulls and analyzes data for reporting. Owns the development of converting “category-level” sell stories into customer-specific sell stories presentations and customizes division materials. Provides internal reporting on Sales opportunities. Manage master calendar for Sales team. Manage new customer onboarding process. Manage customer visit process. Assists with promotion management. Coordinates samples for trade shows Performs other related duties as assigned. Competencies / Skills/ Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational & analytical skills, along with attention to detail. Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Ability to function well in a high-paced environment. Ability to work well with cross functional teams / departments. Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software with the ability to learn new or updated software. Beginner to intermediate project management skills. Education and Experience Required: Bachelors’ Degree (BA/BS) from a four (4) year college or university Sales, Business, Marketing, Communications or other related field, along with 3+ years of business development / sale support experience. Certification / Licenses: Must posses a valid U.S. Driver’s License. Physical Requirements: This position is regularly required to communicate with others, both oral and written. This position is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. Travel: This position may travel up to 5% of the time.
