WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a consumer-centric Business Director, APLA Energy/NBHD to serve leading edge consumers in Asia and Latin America. You will adapt and drive the Global Energy/NBHD strategy for APLA - an ecosystem of catalysts, influencers and culture shaping retail partners. You will drive the seasonal offense end to end, leading a cross-functional squad across Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, and Marketplace to ensure we are delivering the strongest concepts, products, and stories to consumers- including franchise lifecycle management, to consumer journeys, and distribution strategic intent. Ultimately, you will be focused on helping consumers fall in love with new ideas from Nike!

You will partner with Energy/RNWY and Jordan Energy to ensure the Nike Brand shows up for consumers in an integrated and powerful way in the NBHD ecosystem. Working closely with the APLA Men’s VP/GM, you will be the voice of the consumer, surfacing the most critical insights, and finding opportunities to be more consumer relevant. You are responsible for building a healthy, growing business working in partnership with the APLA Marketplace team. You will co-manage marketplace strategies for the NBHD ecosystem. In addition, you will collaborate with SNKRS to ensure an integrated go to market offense to best serve the consumer.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This role reports into the VP/GM APLA Men’s and will work cross-functionally with APLA Energy counterparts in RNWY and Jordan, Global and Geo GM’s, Finance, Planning, Strategy, Marketplace teams, among other key partners.

WHAT YOU BRING

Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent combination of relevant education, experience, and training7 years of experience across strategic planning, finance, merchandising, marketing, product or general managementExperience creating and driving consumer strategies, familiarity with Nike seasonal offense, financial / commercial acumenAbility to work successfully across matrixed-teamsStrong awareness and connection to the streetwear and sneaker industry is a plusAbility to demonstrate leadership among peer group, inclusive of coaching and mentoring of teammates
