Role: Delmock Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Business Domain SME to provide subject matter expertise in tax processing systems, IRS business operations, and IT modernization efforts. This role is critical in ensuring the Business Master File Modernization (BMF Mod) program aligns with IRS goals, improves taxpayer experience, and enhances compliance. The SME will work closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and program leadership to bridge business and IT requirements. Responsibilities: Utilize IRS business domain knowledge to support defining IT initiatives and business requirements. Facilitate reach back and conversations to business users to maximize identification of high-value business requirements. Assist in identifying specific data and reports and describe business benefits and values that can be achieved from delivering an IT capability. Support writing clearly defined, testable business requirements. Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field. 10+ years of IRS Business domain experience and knowledge preferably in tax administration, data analysis roles, or experience defining IT initiatives in support of IRS business activities. Ability to write clearly defined business requirements identifying specific data and reports and describe business benefits and value that can be achieved from delivering an IT capability. Preferred/Nice to Have Skills: Subject matter expertise: IRS exam, collections, taxpayer services, or tax administration is preferred. Familiarity with SAFe Agile framework Experience using Jira Clearance: Active IRS MBI Clearance strongly desired.
