The ASML Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) Factory is responsible for the production and installation of EUV machines till the Site Acceptance Test takes place at the customer. One of the key objectives of the EUV Factory is the reduction of costs to secure profitability margins. Within EUV factory the Manufacturing Program Management team is responsible for New Product Introductions as well as managing Cycle Time- and Cost targets. Therefore, the Manufacturing Program Management team will launch an efficiency project to enable more in-depth insights and transparency.
We have two internship positions available within the scope of this efficiency project.
The first internship is about: Data Processing Automation
For this internship some of your tasks will include:
Study the current metrics measuring and monitoring efficiency performance during a production phase;
Automate efficiency data gathering, processing and reporting by combining input data retrieved from various sources;
Then later include all relevant production phases;
Advise on potential automation improvements;
Document and present your findings.
This is a Bachelor apprentice internship for 6 to 12 months, minimum 4 days per week (3 days onsite). The start date of this internship is as soon as possible.
The second internship is about: Cost Efficiency Measurement
For this internship some of your tasks will include:
Study in-depth the current metrics measuring and monitoring efficiency performance during a production phase;
Define a methodology to extend efficiency measurement for all relevant production phases;
Define a process for reporting out (content, frequency, stakeholders, etc);
Advise on how to enhance or improve efficiency measurement;
Document and present your findings.
This is a Master graduation internship for around 6 months, minimum 4 days per week (3 days onsite). The start date of this internship is as soon as possible.
Your profile
To be a fit for this assignment, you:
Are busy with your bachelor's or master's in Business Economics, Analytics, or a related field;
Are able to work with stakeholders in a complex environment;
Are curious and willing to learn;
Possess excellent analytical skills;
Have an affinity with Microsoft Office (and SAP);
Have good communication skills in English (verbal and written).
Other requirements you need to meet:
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
You are located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate;
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
