Purpose Statement

To support the vision and strategy and enhance the capability of the organisation through the development and implementation of business process architecture solutions and requirements.

Primary Focus:

(1) To provide business process architecture and requirements for Capitec business units; (2) To support new revenue growth initiatives; and (3) To drive continuous improvement post-implementation of projects through business unit operationalisation, in order to track achievement of business benefits to deliver on strategic/business objectives.

Secondary Focus:

(1) To translate business needs emanating from projects, new ideas or system changes into business requirements for developing/buying IT systems; and  (2) To develop change management plans, project plans, and designing of policies/procedures/performance measures. Qualifications (Minimum) A relevant tertiary qualification in Industrial Engineering Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred) A relevant post graduate degree in Industrial Engineering Experience

Minimum:

5-10 years' complex analytical Business Design, Development, Improvement initiatives and/or Product Design Familiarity with Lean / Six Sigma methodologies / Theory of Constraints (TOC) or Agile way of working

Ideal:

Translating corporate strategies and objectives into initiatives and/or projects Initiation and implementation of: projects with the goal to improve performance through business process improvements; revenue growth initiatives; and continuous improvement capability

 

Re-engineering (transforming and evolving) processes within an operations environment Analysing/understanding emerging technologies and trends, to inform innovation and strategic business planning (defining high-level business requirements) Developing robust business cases for new initiatives, quantifying their benefits, and presenting these to senior management Overseeing implementation of the approved business case; i.e., process execution involving stakeholder collaboration/Business Analysts to ensure that anticipated benefits are realised, and for continuous improvement Knowledge

Developing a business case Business Change Life Cycle and Change Management principles  System Development Life Cycle Project Management Lifecycle and methodologies Quality Management  Risk and Issue Management  Client experience / client journey mapping Process frameworks (Strategy, Planning, HR, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Assets, Procurement, Production, and Legal frameworks) Process Simulation Modelling Financial Modelling Management Operating System best practices Supply Chain methodologies Incident Management and workflow methodologies Commercial model development Operating model development Business architecture development Product development framework Transformational management principles Other: Willingness to travel (local) to client if required
