Business Execution Associate - Accounting Analyst

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking an Accounting Analyst who will be responsible for executing daily journal entries, reconciliations, and financial operations tasks with the Merchant Services Operations organization. The ideal candidate will have general accounting knowledge along with strengths in attention to detail, research and analysis.


In this role, you will:

Participate in planning and executing a variety of programs, services, and initiatives, and monitor key indicators to ensure effective performance and control management of assigned operations or business groups

Review basic initiatives including policy or process changes, process improvements, technology enhancements, and conduct regular reviews to identify efficiencies and cost savings opportunities

Receive direction from leaders and exercise independent judgement while developing an understanding of policies and procedures, best practices, and initiatives

Collaborate and consult with mid-level managers or cross-functional business partners

Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff


Required Qualifications:

6+ months of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Minor in Accounting, Associate Degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.Fundamental Knowledge and interest in banking and merchant services: operations, accounting standards, procedures and, policies Ability to identify creative solutions to support settlement and financial operations initiatives  Ability to support many high priority, high complexity, and high risk efforts simultaneously  Ability to exercise independent judgement to identify and resolve problems Ability to perform research to resolve complex business issues  Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Strong, clear and concise written and oral communication skills Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills Experience navigating through ambiguity  Ability to effectively listen and elicit information Ability to be proactive, innovative and creative in meeting customer and enterprise needs  Ability to anticipate and proactively manage and mitigate issues Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important 

Job Expectations:

Hybrid - 3 days in office 2 days from home (Preferred days will be communicated in advance)
