Business Executive - CTO

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Business Executive to support Sage’s Chief Technology Officer in advancing our global technology strategy, fostering external engagement, and enhancing cross-departmental collaboration. The ideal candidate brings a technology or product background, complemented by a strong aptitude for commercial strategy. This role requires a motivated individual who can amplify the CTO’s impact through research, content development, and engagement with industry stakeholders.
You will ensure that the CTO is prepared for meetings and presentations and is supported with the right research, engagement and pre-briefing ahead of board meetings, executive team meetings, senior leadership conferences, external presentations, and analyst engagements. A key element of your role will be coordinating research and content development for strategy papers and presentations. You will have intellectual curiosity and a hunger for learning alongside the ability to grasp complex subjects.
This is a highly visible role whereby you will be introduced to the business in its entirety, from strategy and decision-making at the highest levels of the organization and fostering close working relationships with senior management across Sages global business. You will work across functional boundaries and build strong relationships with technology teams, business units and senior leaders to support the communication of Sage’s Technology and Innovation Vision to Sage’s 11,000+ employees and external audiences.
Naturally, you will be a highly proactive individual, comfortable navigating a dynamic and fast-paced organization and experienced with managing day-to-day operational requirements at a tactical level. You will be capable of delivering events and executing work to a high standard and with strong attention to detail and bring together technical and non-technical teams. Synthesizing information, finding a way through and driving solutions and outcomes in an intelligent way is essential.
A key responsibility of this role will be to elevate Sage’s visibility and engagement both within the Atlanta community and across our global markets. This includes partnering closely with our Public Affairs, Corporate Affairs, and Partner and Alliances teams to build strategic relationships, promote Sage’s brand presence, and align outreach efforts with our business objectives. The Business Executive will play a pivotal role in enhancing Sage’s reputation as an industry leader, strengthening our influence in key regions, and fostering partnerships that drive business growth and innovation.
