Business governance specialist

FNZ Markets is FNZ group’s internal Equity brokerage and custody provider. The team consists of 15 staff located in Stockholm, managing the operational flows on a pan-EU basis.

Role Description

The objective of Business governance role is to deliver, coordinate and continuously develop an effective governance structure for the business and legal entity, in which the business line operates. In order to ensure the business line’s adherence to policies and procedures, process documentation standards, as well as overseeing the business’ decision-making processes, which includes KPI management and escalations.

The role works alongside the managing directors of the business with the responsibility of ensuring full compliance with internal and external requirements around audit, governance and structure.

While FNZ is technology business, the role requires wider financial services industry and Nordic regional experience, ideally within a fast-paced regulated environment with exposure to multiple markets and functions.

The duties and responsibilities of this role will include the following:

General

Ensure that the business line follows all policies and procedures.

Drafting and documenting process maps.

Structure and coordination of management decision agendas.

Representing the business in group wide forums around product and client approvals.

Coordination for internal audit.

ISAE 3402 coordination.

Internal management around KPI and management reporting.

Oversight function for outsourcing arrangements, which includes continuous oversight and monitoring.

Key controls management.

Work together with other functions within the group to align frameworks around process documentation and controls.

Required Knowledge & Skills

5 years +of Industry experience from either a financial services form and/or the big 4 accounting/consultancy firms.

Hands-on experience of business governance and/or business process mapping.

Able to work independently and with initiative

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and a desire to work as part of a global team.

Excellent organisational, administration and time management skills.
