Business Inteligence & Analytics Manager
Position purpose:
The Business Intelligence & Analytics Manager plays a critical role in driving JTI’s consumer and commercial analytics strategy, with a primary focus on leading the Global Tracker Program—JTI’s most fundamental source of consumer data. Spanning 80+ countries, this program provides essential insights into consumer behavior, market dynamics, and category trends, shaping data-driven decisions at every level of the organization.
As the leader of the Global Tracker Program, the manager ensures its seamless operation and continuous evolution. They optimize methodologies, tools, and processes to deliver actionable insights while driving data accessibility through advanced dashboard systems, enabling a self-service model for stakeholders across JTI.
The role also involves conducting descriptive and prescriptive analyses of consumer behavior, consolidating data from incidence and tracker reports to uncover trends and correlations. By connecting the dots between consumer insights and business outcomes, the manager generates actionable recommendations that address key challenges and seize growth opportunities.
In addition, the manager oversees data governance and analytics products, refining KPIs, harmonizing data sources, and delivering global strategic insights (SI) reports to ensure accurate and impactful business readings.
A key responsibility includes managing global agency partnerships to ensure excellence in analytics and reporting. The manager evaluates, onboards, and collaborates with top-class agencies while identifying new providers to continuously enhance the program’s impact and scalability.

What will you do – responsibilities:
Global Tracker Program Leadership
• Oversee the Global Tracker Program, ensuring its effective operation across all countries in scope
• Continuously optimize program methodologies, processes, and tools to enhance efficiency and insight generation.
• Provide strategic direction for the program, ensuring alignment with global business priorities and data needs.
• Ensure Incidence/Tracker data availability through advanced dashboard systems, enabling a self-service model for the entire JTI organization.
Data Governance & Analytics Products
• Govern and evolve business definitions, KPIs, data sources, and analytics products.
• Deliver global strategic insights (SI) reports that provide a relevant, insightful, and accurate read of the business.
• Collaborate on cross-functional projects to deliver guidance on data measures, analytics, and consumer insights.
Descriptive & prescriptive analysis across incidence & tracker reports (consolidation & connecting the dots)
Conduct analyses across incidence and tracker reports, consolidating insights to connect the dots between consumer behavior and business outcomes
Global Agency Management
• Lead partnerships with global top-class agencies to ensure excellence in analytics and reporting.
• Evaluate, onboard, and manage agency relationships to maintain the program's quality and scalability.
• Identify new agencies and data providers to enhance the organization’s analytical and strategic capabilities.
Cross-functional Projects
Provide corporate stakeholders with the highest quality support across cross-functional initiatives, providing strategic guidance on the measures and sources that would better meet project needs, ensuring adherence to business governance principles, driving consumer and commercial business knowledge across the organization and providing relevant commercial insihts for the success of the project
Who are we looking for – requirements:
10+ years experience in Marketing & Sales function in a market, region or HQ
Strong business understanding with extensive knowledge of the different variables that impact our industry categories and brands development, including macroeconomics, incidence & consumption, consumer dynamics, pricing, volume, inflow/outflow, retail KPIs, taxation...
Extensive knowledge and experience of Tracker program and market dynamic data sources (e.g. Nielsen, IRI...), KPIs calculation, reporting and insights generation. Have experience working with large amount of data, and deep knowledge of data and how it impacts KPIs and consolidation. Knowledge of Consumer KPIs and how they help explain Market Dynamics
Demonstrated expertise in understanding and addressing business needs through deep understanding of Statistics, external data (Nielsen, IRI, Tracker, BoM, Material Master etc...), database design for business (not from the technical standpoint), and translating business user needs around Market Dynamics data into actionable solutions for the wider stajeholders community
