Business Intelligence Analyst
Classification Title:

Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Description: Ongoing management of data – Maintain query groups and dashboard assignments; Identify, spec out, and submit any back-end reporting needs; Triage dashboard update needs and help support dashboard maintenance; Manage external departmental employee updates including creating new employee profiles, shop assignments and changes, role updates, and employee status updates; Assist with triage, tracking, and resolving ad-hoc issues; Clean-up/ archive outdated data; Run, distribute, and follow-up on quality control reports.   Project Team – Assist project management team with implementation of planned projects, explore unused products and modules within existing software for value adding potential, review existing products and processes for efficiency, accuracy, and areas of improvement; Test and document use cases, assist with data entry and setup as needed, document/ report/ follow-up on bugs and fixes as needed, assist with training and implementation support, identify and coordinate with affected end users on upgrade timeline and implementation plan, communicate with stakeholders regularly.   Review existing documentation for update needs, maintain version control on published documents; Assist with fiscal year end data management including review and termination of all finished projects, standing work order review, and other fiscal year end tasks and implementations. Identify and communicate training needs for end users.   Other duties: As assigned and prioritize by the supervisor   Valid State of Florida Class E Operators License is required

NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday through Friday, 08:00 a.m. until 05:00 p.m.

Expected Salary:

$61,000 Annually

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area and three years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications: EXPERIENCE - Experience with adaptation to change and coaching others through change management - Experience with facilities maintenance operations - Experience with data management and quality control KNOWLEDGE - Knowledge of Facilities Services organization and work processes - High level of knowledge AiM software as used by UF Facilities Services from a User Interface perspective SKILLS - Highly functional on personal computer and iPad - Proficient in Microsoft (MS) Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access) - Organizational skills (to maintain efficiently, retrieve, and archive all information) - Communication skills (to effectively tailor information to department heads, superintendents, supervisors and technicians with varying skill and experience levels) - Customer service skills (to communicate effectively and retrieve correct information from customers) ABILITIES - Ability to develop intermediate level spreadsheets - Ability to manage work priorities independently (to meet various deadlines with the flexibility to re-assess priorities due to organizational needs) - Ability to stay on task for long periods - Ability to provide accurate data within deadlines - Ability to establish professional relationships with personnel of varying levels within and outside UF - Ability to assess management reporting requirements and develop solutions with both immediate and long-term utility Special Instructions to Applicants:
