Summary of Job Duties:The Business Intelligence Analyst / Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining custom reporting solutions and applications that support the IA CRM system. This role requires expertise in SQL, ETL tools, and business intelligence (BI) datasets to ensure data accuracy and accessibility. The individual will collaborate with end users to gather requirements, create tailored reporting solutions, and deliver insights that support business operations.
As the organization explores AI-driven solutions, this role offers opportunities to contribute to emerging data initiatives, including automation and predictive analytics. While not required, familiarity with machine learning concepts or next-generation data architectures could be beneficial.
In addition to reporting and data management, this position plays a key role in maintaining data integrity, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and supporting integrations between systems. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, a solid understanding of database structures, and experience in quality assurance processes to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field plus least two years of experience in data analysis, database management, or business intelligence to include at least one year of experience in a client-facing role providing technical solutions.
Special knowledge, abilities and skills:
Proficiency in SQL and ETL tools.
Experience with Salesforce CRM reporting and dashboard development.
Working knowledge of data warehousing concepts and database structures.
Familiarity with data integration processes and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Salesforce administrator experience.
Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server or similar database platforms.
Familiarity with data governance best practices and quality assurance testing.
Experience with API-based integrations or middleware platforms.
Exposure to machine learning concepts, AI-driven data solutions, or automation techniques is a plus.
Certifications in Salesforce, SQL, or data analytics are a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting (40%)
Develop, maintain, and optimize Salesforce CRM reports and dashboards to support business operations.
Organize and maintain a standardized report library to ensure efficient access to key data.
Respond to ad hoc and specialty reporting requests, providing insights to stakeholders as needed.
Design, develop, and maintain data sources used for reporting, including Microsoft SQL Server data warehouse and other relevant systems.
Data Maintenance and Integrity (30%)
Perform ongoing data maintenance and implement projects to ensure donor database accuracy and consistency.
Manage and update account records, contact details, campaign appeals, activities, and other key data points.
Assist in reviewing and refining data entry policies, ensuring adherence to best practices for data integrity.
Support the implementation of data governance policies to enhance data quality and compliance.
Integration (20%)
Assist with data loads, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data ingestion processes.
Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot integrations between reporting systems, ensuring seamless data flow across platforms.
Collaborate with technical teams to enhance automation and data pipeline efficiency as part of ongoing system improvements.
