Responsibilities

The Data Analytics team at FM is responsible for extracting insights out of our data to help our leaders make better business decisions. In this role, you will help us design, develop, and maintain the reporting and analytical solutions that will help the business. Working on the Business Intelligence team within Data Analytics, you will extract and transform data from various relational databases. You will use this data to deliver analyses, via reports, visualizations, or narratives, and help to convey a message about the data for our business partners.

 

Integrate data from internal and external sources that will aid in decision making using tools such as SQL, Power Query, and Excel. Use data visualization software such as Power BI and Excel to communicate insights or help to tell a story about the data. Identify and help define opportunities to create new business insights. Identify opportunities to refine, enhance, and produce the existing analytics and reporting solutions. Research business problems and assist in creating solutions to analyze these problems. Support the business unit data testing effort.

 

Qualifications

 

Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college and working towards a bachelor’s degree in a technical field.

Junior or Senior status highly preferred.

Data Literacy; understanding database fundamentals, including SQL.

General knowledge of computer fundamentals.

Knowledge or experience in one or more of the following: SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, DAX, Power Query, Excel, Python, R.

Ability to learn quickly on the job, collaborate with teams and share ideas to solve problems.
