The role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Intelligence and Reporting Technical Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of BI solutions and reporting frameworks. This role requires a deep understanding of data analytics, strong technical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights.

Lead the development and maintenance of BI solutions, including data warehouses, dashboards, and reporting tools. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into technical requirements. Design and implement data models, ETL processes, and data integration solutions. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all BI platforms.
Develop and maintain documentation for BI processes, standards, and best practices. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Stay up-to-date with the latest BI technologies and trends, recommending improvements and innovations. Troubleshoot and resolve BI-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

 

What you’ll bring

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related role. Deep knowledge of Power BI and Tableau for data visualization and reporting. Proficiency in SnapLogic ETL for data integration and transformation. Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery for cloud-based data solutions. Strong SQL skills and experience with data warehousing concepts. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience with other BI tools such as QlikView is a plus.
