Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant
Description We are in the search for a Business Intelligence (BI) Consultant to be a part of our team in the legal industry, based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our knowledge management platform, interpreting financial data, implementing data tracking, and improving analytical procedures. You will also play a crucial role in recommending process improvements and training departments on best practices. Responsibilities: • Administer the firm's knowledge management platform, Foundation, effectively. • Produce valuable reports that highlight business trends, growth objectives, and actionable insights by interpreting financial, relationship, and engagement data. • Implement data tracking into various firm initiatives and current technologies. • Utilize data visualization platforms like Qlik and PowerBI regularly. • Recommend process improvements, new technology solutions, and advisable strategies based on data and team input. • Take charge in project management for the implementation or development of operational technologies and processes. • Pinpoint opportunities to try innovative methodologies and improve analytical procedure. • Assist in creating, preserving, and training departments on best practices, data interpretation, and newly available tools. • Train attorneys on data input, interpretation of data and analytics, and attorney-facing tools. • Propose new ways to organize and leverage firm-related data. Requirements • Proficiency in Atlassian Jira is essential for managing projects and workflows. • Expertise in BusinessObjects Technologies is required for effective business data interpretation. • Familiarity with Cognos Business Intelligence is vital for handling business data and reporting. • Proficiency in Data Visualization is crucial for presenting data in a visually understandable format. • Knowledge of Maps API is required for integrating and utilizing geographical data. • Experience in AB Testing is necessary for optimizing and improving business solutions. • Skill in Ad Hoc Reporting is crucial for creating custom reports as per business needs. • Proficiency in Agile Scrum methodologies is essential for managing and delivering projects. • Strong Analytics skills are needed for analyzing, interpreting, and utilizing business data. • Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) is necessary for understanding and improving business processes and strategies.
