Robert Half is hiring! We are in search of a Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team in Greenville, South Carolina. The BI Engineer will be responsible for building and adjusting data tables, providing actionable insights from data analysis, and working with various legacy systems. This role requires a strong understanding of Microsoft Power Platform and SQL, and experience with DB and Data modeling.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and adjust data tables to meet project requirements
• Analyze data and provide actionable insights to support business decision making
• Collaborate closely with internal business members to understand and solve business problems
• Utilize Microsoft Power Platform and SQL to handle data and reporting tasks
• Ensure all requests for data, reporting, and analysis are logged and addressed efficiently
• Work through various legacy systems to extract and analyze necessary data
• Collaborate with data architecture team to troubleshoot complex data issues
• Present actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership
• Join disparate data sets to uncover actionable insights
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
Requirements • Strong proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools and methodologies.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft SQL.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Business Intelligence role within the manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in data modeling, data warehousing, and data visualization.
• Familiarity with BI technologies such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
• Ability to translate complex data sets into clear and actionable insights.
• Proficient in writing SQL queries and understanding of database structures.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively explain possible solutions to non-technical team members.
• Proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
