Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer
Description We are offering a contract for a Business Intelligence (BI) Engineer position in Sanford, Florida. As a BI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our data and warehouse operations, with a specialization in PowerBI and NetSuite. Your responsibilities will not only include executing existing reports but also establishing new ones, leveraging your knowledge of Microsoft Azure infrastructure. Responsibilities: • Develop and manage BI solutions • Provide reports, processes, and Excel VBA applications through the application life cycle. • Collaborate with business users to define and implement BI requirements. • Utilize Microsoft Azure for setting up reports and managing data infrastructure. • Offer support for PowerBI and NetSuite related issues. • Design, code, test, and aggregate results from SQL queries to provide information to users. • Create and maintain documentation for all projects. • Understand the data, systems, and tools to ensure report accuracy. • Monitor and support the daily data warehouse workflows. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and develop new metrics, reports, and dashboards. Requirements • Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools and practices. • Extensive knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Azure. • Familiarity with Windows Azure is a must. • Ability to utilise NetSuite for various business applications. • Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data. • Solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL tools. • Excellent problem-solving abilities. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting. • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with other team members and stakeholders. • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. • Proven experience as a BI Engineer or similar role. • An understanding of BI technologies and their application in a business setting. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and technologies.
