Our IT Team is in need of a Business Intelligence (BI) Report Developer in Evansville, IN! This role will use tools such as Crystal Reports, Excel, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Tableau, and Power BI creates, updates, maintains, and manages reports and dashboards to assist in data-driven decision making.  This position will support data cleansing and normalizing activities to ensure reliable reporting. 

 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Work with stakeholders to gather and document requirements. Develop recommendations to meet common goals. Develop and maintain business intelligence reports from various data sources including ERP databases such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision), Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Infor SyteLine, and other data sources such as SQL Servers (various), Access, and Excel. Test and troubleshoot reports to ensure accuracy and maintain data integrity and ongoing quality control of delivered reports. Document changes and assumptions. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets. Provide technical assistance and cross training to other team members.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education or training in business, finance, economics, relevant discipline, and or equivalent related work experience. Skilled and familiar with SQL and VBA. Experience with data cleansing, data conversion, and extract, transform and load (ETL) initiatives. Relevant data analysis, validation, testing, and impact analysis experience. Experience managing and interpreting large amounts of data and the ability to explain the outcomes of the information, including data systems development, data mining, and data cleansing. Proficiency with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS). Self-starter with a strong work ethic and ability to see tasks to completion. General knowledge of statistical modeling and forecasting. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and advanced experience with Microsoft Excel. Ability to multi-task and work independently. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Science (BS) in computer science, mathematics, other science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) degrees or higher. Two years of proficient experience with Cognos, Tableau, or Power BI. Experience with data warehouses, lakes, and lake houses. Experience with insightsoftware Jet Reports. Demonstrated excellence in data manipulation and data visualization skills. Excellent communication, time management, and teamwork skills. Proficient with scripting languages, including JavaScript and Python. API and workflow automation development.

 

Possibly add something about API Scripting, Jet Reports,  I see you have SQL but most of our reports currently are  SSRS for Syteline which is SQL based not sure if it should be called out. [TB1]
