Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Business Intelligence (BI) Specialist to join our team, who will take responsibility for transforming raw data into insights that shape business decisions for two new and exciting major infrastructure projects in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

The successful candidate will play an integral part in helping the team succeed in a data-driven world, and will therefore be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel with the ability to create complex queries against existing multiple datasets, and, importantly, with significant experience of creating a suite of Microsoft Power BI dashboards from scratch.

What You'll Be Doing;

As a key member of the Operations team, you will hold responsibility for transforming various raw data into insights and impactful dashboards that shape business decisions.You will be the key link between data and action, supporting strategic initiatives across 2 large-scale projects.You will design, build and deploy and verify interactive dashboards using Microsoft Power BI to clearly visualize key metrics.You will work closely with key stakeholders to understand data needs, analyze datasets to uncover trends, maintain data accuracy within BI systems and translate business requirements into technical specifications.You will monitor the functionality and accuracy of the applied dashboards and implement any resulting modifications or improvements.In order to be successful in this position, you will maintain close and continuous communication with all team members regarding the performance and developments within the projects that will have an impact upon our data collection, analysis and reporting.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Minimum BSc Degree, ideally in Computer Science, IT or a related fieldMinimum 5 years relevant work experience in a similar positionProficiency with Power BI tools – with verifiable experience of having created impactful Power BI dashboards.Possess knowledge of database fundamentals such as multidimensional database design and relational database designDesirable expertise in DAX and SQLFluency in English is required.A curious mind, with strong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to gain a rapid grasp of new and unfamiliar information.Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to translate business needs into technical specifications.
