This position provides customers with guidance to use business intelligence tools that can support customers’ inquiries and business decision making. Maintains both custom and standard business intelligence applications.
What you'll be responsible for:
Supports customers with analysis, design and development utilizing BI tools. Debugs and resolves data errors with both custom and standard applications.Masters a BI toolset to generate ETL processes including extraction of data from source systems, data mapping into a Star Schema and the generation OLAP cubes.Creates alerts, dashboards, eReports and Insights using the appropriate BI or industry toolsets.Installs BI tools in an MS Windows Server environment. Develops fully custom BI applications including analysis, data modeling, and business regulations.Installs and configures business analytics applications. Designs and implements full, custom BI applications in BI toolset. Supports standard and custom BI applications at customer sites.Provides both internal and customer training on business analytics offerings.Provides direct first and second line customer support both onsite and remotely as necessary.Provides user and technical documentation as appropriate.May perform other job duties as assignedWhat you'll need to have:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial field.Good knowledge of SQL servers and SQL programming and Microsoft reporting services.Good relational database knowledge, preferably in a development or administrative environment.What would be nice for you to have:
Developing professional expertise. Works on non-complex to moderately complex projects. Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices.Good BI experience including data warehousing, ETL, dimension modeling.
