Business Intelligence & Data Insights Analyst
As our Business Intelligence & Data Insights Analyst, part of our Pharma Marketing Benelux team, you ensure data availability and data quality while driving the translation of data into actionable performance insights.
This role is primarily focused on the BeLux market, with strong collaboration within the BeNeLux Cluster.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify data-related needs, converting them into actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and improve performance throughout the company.
• Lead assigned local and cluster data projects.
• Provide support and training to the local organization on the use and interpretation of dashboards.
• Optimize the use of the Commercial Data Platform (CDP).
• Develop and maintain new data and analytical dashboards to support data-driven decision-making within the business.
• Responsible for qualitative and quantitative market research and the main contact person for market research agencies.
• Work closely with multiple functions within the Benelux region and the Global Bayer organization to conduct regular data analysis, facilitating the conversion of data into performance by identifying risks and business opportunities.
• Identify and evaluate new vendors to enhance data quality and efficiency, while proposing the termination of contracts with ineffective or outdated service providers.

WHO YOU ARE
• University degree in a quantitative field or equivalent relevant work experience
• At least 5 years of relevant experience, with a strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market in Belgium and Luxembourg.
• Comprehensive expertise and hands-on experience in sales, sales management, marketing, market analysis, target setting, position optimization, and management of reporting systems.
• Ability to convert technical solutions and design decisions into business implications and vice versa.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, coupled with experience in data visualization across various platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, and others.
• Understanding of data modeling and different data structures and understanding of high-performance algorithms and statistical software. Experience in project management and analytics.
• Highly self-driven with robust organizational skills, able to succeed in a practical, hands-on environment.
• Enthusiastic about sharing knowledge with the data team and a collaborative team player.
• Proactive and analytical problem solver with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Exceptional communication and intercultural skills, capable of adapting messages to suit various stakeholders.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, French is an asset.
