The blood based IQLung™ strategy for lung cancer patients integrates the GeneStrat® targeted ddPCR™ test, the GeneStrat NGS® test and the VeriStrat® test to support treatment decisions across all stages of lung cancer with results in an average of two to three business days, expediting the time to treatment. Biodesix also leverages the proprietary and advanced Diagnostic Cortex® AI (Artificial Intelligence) platform, to collaborate with many of the world’s leading biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies to solve complex diagnostic challenges in lung disease. For more information about Biodesix, please visit www.biodesix.com.    OVERVIEW:  The Business Intelligence (BI) Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.  This role focuses on building scalable data models, developing intuitive Power BI reports and dashboards, and supporting deployment and adoption across the business.   JOB LOCATION Louisville, CO - Hybrid   RESPONSIBILITIES:  Develop new and maintain existing Power BI semantic models, reports, and dashboards.  Work closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to understand task requirements. Perform unit testing to verify data accuracy and integrity.  Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to BI solutions. Documentation of BI processes, data models, and system configurations.  Perform ad-hoc data analysis as needed. Assist in the administration of the BI ecosystem (publish models/reports, schedule refreshes, etc.). Assist business users with using published reports/dashboards.   REQUIREMENTS:  2+ years’ experience developing in Microsoft PBI Desktop/Service, required. Proficiency in Power BI languages: strong working knowledge of both DAX and M. Hands-on experience with data modeling projects, including the ability to model data for optimal performance and scalability.  Skilled in developing intuitive and impactful reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI Desktop, with a focus on user experience.  Experience in connecting to diverse data sources, including databases (SQL Server), cloud sources (Azure, SharePoint), APIs, and flat files. Experience in designing and implementing testing strategies for validating data accuracy, integrity, and performance of BI reports.  Familiarity with data visualization best practices and knowledge of UX/UI principles to ensure reports are not only functional but are user-friendly. Collaborative and transparent, readily shares information and knowledge, while providing support and fostering a cooperative team environment. Strong team member with the ability to work independently, balancing collaboration with autonomy to meet project goals. Familiarity with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements listed above, preferred. Prior experience with software in a regulated environment, preferred. Exposure to lab or medical business environments and any Lab Information Management System (LIMS), preferred. Familiarity with issue tracking software (such as Azure DevOps, Jira or Bugzilla), preferred.
