This position requires a strong data visualization background, a deep understanding of data analytics, and a proven ability to work in a collaborative and innovative environment.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
Power BI Development: Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to business stakeholders. Utilize DAX to create complex measures and calculations. Data Analysis: Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends and anomalies. SQL Development: Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into Power BI. Stakeholder Collaboration): Work closely with business users to gather requirements, provide training, and ensure user adoption of BI solutions. Continuous Improvement: Stay current with the latest BI and data analytics trends, and proactively improve existing processes.
YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
Data Visualization: Can create and interpret complex visualizations, proficient in advanced dashboard/report design techniques using Power BI. DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M Programming: Proficient in complex DAX formulas and M queries, with the ability to enhance data processing and report functionality. SQL Development: Advanced skills in SQL, with capabilities in query optimization and complex data manipulation. Agile Methodologies: Competent in applying Agile principles to manage BI projects, ensuring efficient and flexible project execution. Data Integration and ETL/ELT Concepts: Basic understanding of data integration processes and tools. Data Warehousing: Knowledgeable in data warehousing principles, capable of effectively utilizing large data stores. 3+ years of experience in a BI developer role or similar, with strong use of Power BI Bachelor’s degreeRelias is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Drug-Free workplace
IN OFFICE REQUIREMENT:
Relias values collaboration and wants to ensure that our team members have opportunities to work with their teams regularly for professional development opportunities. Our flexible hybrid work environment requires that you live in the state of North Carolina, within a commutable distance to our office (~1-hour commute). You would be expected to work in our Morrisville, NC Headquarters approximately 30 days/quarter.
