Business Intelligence Engineer
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Management Business Intelligence (BI) team exists to drive data excellence, provides data reporting, visualization, automation, and insights for the AWS Partner Organization (APO). We enable APO’s data driven culture, builds data automation solutions, and accelerates AWS revenue growth and partner profitability.
The Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Organization (APO), which is part of the AWS Commercial Sector, drives AWS adoption by working with Partners—3rd party businesses, also called acquiring Partners—to either sell AWS products and services indirectly, or integrate businesses with AWS. Our mission is to empower internal APO stakeholders with the data, analytical insights and tools they need to thrive in the rapidly evolving digital landscape. As part of our team, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with internal stakeholders from the AWS Partner Organization, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to help shape the future of business intelligence at AWS.

Key job responsibilities
- You bring a unique combination of technical, analytical skills and business acumen, and bring them together to shape and guide internal business intelligence product roadmap and promote best technical practices among team members.
- You navigate through ambiguity and actively collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand the core of the business problem, identify common themes of business problems and deliver best-in-class BI solutions;
- You work directly with stakeholders to identify business needs and deliver BI solutions on reporting, analytics, and insights to the business; you help promote source-of-truth concept and drive solutions for data standardization
- You create source-of-truth datasets using SQL; you leverage scripting language i.e. Python to create automation and reduce manual processes
- You design, develop, and maintain data visualizations using visualization tools such as Amazon Quicksight
